Superstar Rajinikanth' s latest flick Kochadaiyaan will use ‘motion capture’, an animation technique used by Steven Spielberg for The Adventures of Tin tin.
Recuperating from a reported kidney ailment, superstar Rajinikanth today said he would soon be back with his latest venture Kochadaiyaan. “I will be back soon. Very soon shooting will start,” he told reporters here after handing over a cheque of Rs 10 lakh to Chief Minister Jayalalithaa towards cyclone Thane relief.
The multilingual movie, which was announced a couple of months ago, will reportedly take off today. It was officially announced that the film will take place with pooja today at the actor's favourite Pillayar temple located inside the AVM Studios, Vadapalani, Chennai.
AR Rahman will score the soundtrack as well as the background score. The film is to be directed by Rajini's daughter Soundarya and is written by K. S. Ravikumar.
Kochadaiyaan also features Sarath Kumar, Sneha, Aadhi and Shobha. The makers of the film are yet to finalise the female lead, who will pair up with Rajinikanth in the film, and Katrina Kaif is one of the contenders.
